Site of another volunteer. The old lady in the pic asked me to take a picture of her after I had already taken it. They ask for photos and then when you take it, they ask for money.
Dave and I experienced this once in a rural area of China. He asked a woman via sign language if it was okay to take a picture of a child riding in a wagon with a bunch of vegetables; she said 'okay' and then once Dave took the shot, she asked for money, which he gladly paid.

Cool photo. I wonder how old she really is. I would guess late 30s. Is it rude to ask a lady her age in Peru, too?
